• Responsible of the supervision and review for accuracy and compliance of the activities perform by my team in charge during the month and on month end close for Costa Rica, Puerto Rico and Dominican Republic sites (with their corresponding structures including US sites) for all Record to Report processes in scope, such as, cash, intercompany, fixed assets, CIP, payroll, APPO, prepaid assets, follow up with accounts payable and accounts receivables, lease accounting, IC loans and facilitating cross-functional communication between departments to ensure integration of accounting processes.
• Review of the Balance sheet and Income Statement for all sites.
• Manage a team of accounting analysts, providing mentorship, guidance and performance feedback through the tools that the company offers for the development of their professional careers.
• Collaboration and coordination with internal and external auditors for timely completion on annual audits, addressing inquiries promptly and accurately (US GAAP and/or IFRS).

In this position, the greatest achievements were, the migration of activities from the CR and PR sites to Querétaro, as well as the reduction in close times of the DR site (20 hours) once this project was taken.

• Communication Committee – participation in the committee as a tool to provide all GFSS employees with clear and truthful communication about the company, to create a culture of transparency

• Cash Management – Enhanced financial accuracy by the reconciliation between bank statements and SAP bank accounts of some sites
• Booking of bank transactions such as custom for payment, commissions, cash pool, intercompany payments, or receipts
• Electronic Accounting – Development and testing of the reports needed for electronic accounting purposes and responsible of processing monthly reports for all Eaton companies (Oracle and Sap sites) according to the SAT requirement
• Corporate Accounting - owner of site 0358, responsible of the AR transactions, cash management, monthly reports (RSD), hedges, ICA, IC statements, Mark to Market, Interests, Netting, BSRs, Tax requirements, validation of the VAT calculation each month. Enhanced financial accuracy by conducting analysis and reconciliation of accounts

In this position I was able to work in some improvements such as Balance sheet's review at the end of each month for site 0358 as a control measure; implementation the use of an excel template to perform invoicing as there were not AR module design for this site and using a share point to upload IC statements.

• Participate in the preparation and delivery of the profit plan of distinct functions within site0358
• Project BOC (Build Organization Capabilities) - as a part of this project some tools were developed as a guidance for all finance employees in the GFSS to understand APEX, development plans, one to one, goals and competencies
• Participate in SOX validation in2019

• Responsible of the team in charge of the external audit process for internal control and financial statements by performing specific procedures for all accounts in the financial statements to ensure the integrity and accuracy of the balances and the existence of internal controls
• Responsible of preparing year-end reports under USGAAP and IFRS and financial statements
