
I am a National Board Certified Educator with varied classroom and leadership experience. I hold a Master of Arts Degree in Educational Leadership and a Tier 1 California Administrative Services Credential. I have experience with every elementary grade level. I served as a Primary Promise reading interventionist. I was a facilitator of Bite Sized Professional Development as well as a facilitator for Tier 3 schools during the Summer Professional Development Series. I am the current Cultural Arts Passport Champion at Gledhill St. Elementary. I have served as an officer of the School Site Council at Columbus Avenue Elementary as well as serving as the GATE Coordinator and as the EDST Lead Teacher. I have designed and implemented successful parent education workshops, and school wide events. I currently work as a mentor to teachers in the TGI (Induction) Program as well as students in the Early Childhood Practicum course at Pierce College. I am skilled at using data to create purposeful and targeted small groups to improve student outcomes. I am highly motivated, and go above and beyond to make sure that children and families are getting the most out of their school experience.
2019-present- TGI Mentor- Served as the mentor to 9 teachers in the Teacher Growth Induction Program. I provided each teacher with more than 30 hours of support through observations and co-planning to help them to clear their credentials.
2024-present - Cultural Arts Passport Champion- Planned, organized and supervised arts field trips and experiences, that align with the VAPA standards for all students at Gledhill Elementary.
2020, 2026 – Pierce College Early Childhood Practicum Mentor – Served as the Master Teacher to 2 students in the Early Childhood Practicum Course. Each student observed and participated in my TK classroom 2 days per week for the semester. Worked collaboratively with their professor to provide them with experience in an early childhood setting.
2022-2025 - District Professional Development Facilitator- Served as a facilitator for the Bite Sized Foundational Literacy Skills Workshops put on by the Department of Instruction. Served as a facilitator in both ELA and Math for the past three years during the district Summer Professional Development Series
2021-2024 – Seesaw Ambassador – Selected by the administrative team at the educational app, Seesaw to serve as an Ambassador. Present to others at my school site, and during local district Primary Promise professional development meetings on how to utilize Seesaw to best meet student needs.
2020-2021 Lesson Developer – Worked on a team created by local districts northeast and northwest to create lessons for the first 25 days of virtual instruction. Created the TK language arts lessons.
Co-created and edited the phonemic awareness lessons used for Local District Northwest summer school in 2021. Presented these lessons at the Summer School Professional Development

Spent a year reflecting on my abilities and practice as an educator. The process culminated with the creation of a portfolio which included videos of myself teaching, analysis of student work samples, and extended written analysis of my practice. The process also included a written exam.
