Extracurricular Activities

12/2023, Present, Founder and Co-president of the Research and Innovation student association, University of Ottawa, Launched a platform to connect students, residents and staff to promote research activities and facilitate opportunity seeking, created a research guide to facilitate access to resources to guide students through their research projects, organize a research conference to allow medical students to present research and innovation projects accross different specialties 

08/2022, Present, Ontario Lead, LearnENT Ottawa, Ottawa, Organize and lead events accross Ontario medical schools to promote ENT and support the students by improving learning materials in the official app of the Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery association in Canada. Through this experience, I am able to improve my leadership skills by coordinating and supporting our local ambassadors at each faculty. 12/2022, Present, Member, iHear Ottawa, Ottawa, Visit elementary schools around Ottawa and perform hearing tests and basic ear exams through the shoebox app developed by Dr Bromwich. This experience will help me build my clinical skills with the otoscope and allow me to better assess the needs for hearing exams in the community.
