· Assist staff in the Student Life Centre in supporting programming and events.
· Cooked and assembled simple menu items for service and assisted in food service for programming and events.
· Prepare beverage items for customer orders and assist in beverage service for programming and events.
· Take, process, and fulfill customer orders and take accurate payments using Silverware point-of-sale software.
· Assist with receiving shipments, stocking serving stations, and following proper rotation of stock.
· Abide by and administer all laws of the Liquor License Act as well as policies of the Student Life Centre and Cambrian College.
· Prepares and resets the Receiving Area.
· Unloads and sorts general merchandise trailers.
· Completes live unloading of all remaining merchandise.
· Maintain cold chain for refrigerated and frozen receiving and stocking.
· Pulis pallets of merchandise to the sales floor for overnight processing.
· Assisting in stocking the sales floor as assigned and providing customer service when necessary.
· Labels and places overstock merchandise.
· Contributes to a safe, clean, and hazard-free work environment through adherence to Company policy and procedures, including the completion of safety sweep logs and ensuring displays and fixtures are secure.
