In the my working life until now, writing has always been an integral part of another role. Though important, it did not give me the satisfaction of being able to work completely as a writer, something which I have only managed to dabble in to date.

I hope to be able to rectify that by gaining a position that enables me to focus solely on using my writing skills exclusively.

In an extensive career that included Mechanical Engineering, Military Service, Aviation, Regulatory Compliance, Consulting, Management and Executive positions, I have always had to write extensively. This often required research of a technical nature, most frequently in aviation-related fields but also in a historical sense. Most recently, it has related to work regarding the human / machine interface and latterly, the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) as it pertains to activities such as the Distributed Crewing Approach to aircraft control.
