- My current role in the company is as a Gradesman in the Earthworks division, I can read blueprints, understand stakes, offset stakes, work with surveyors, calculate percentages off stakes to find the exact grade between them
- Proficient with using a rotary dual axis laser level, tape, level, string line, ribbon, stakes and paint
- Can fill a skilled labor role when needed as well as operate heavy equipment and at times have managed the crew
- Occasionally work with the underground division when they are needing assistance (Tasks include: laying pipe, backfill, rake, plate tamp, build trench boxes, set manholes etc.)
- I was the lead-hand & JHSC rep on one of our earthworks crew in 2022-2023 while also fulfilling my role as a gradesman and occasionally a heavy equipment operator
