DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Cleaned building floors, offices and residentials by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing and vacuuming.
• Inspected facility and grounds and picked up any trash.
• Spot cleaned furniture and carpet.
• Steam cleaned and shampooed carpeted areas.
• Mixed water and detergents in containers to prepare chemical cleaning solutions.
• Cleaned windows, glass partitions and mirrors using soapy water, surface cleaner, sponges and squeegees.

• Dusted all furniture and fixtures thoroughly and carefully.

• Cared for home-based patient with diagnoses such as;  respiratory failure, muscular dystrophy, trauma, and elderly sick person.
• Performed direct patient care aimed at increasing comfort, psycho, social and spiritual well-being by providing assistance with personal hygiene, physical comfort, nutrition, elimination, prevention of skin breakdown, rehabilitation and safety.
• Scheduled and accompanied clients to medical appointments such as; laboratory, occupational and physical therapy.
• Maintained a clean, healthy and safe environment.
• Cooked appetizing and satisfying meals and snacks.
• Helped patients move in and out of beds, baths, wheelchairs and automobiles.
• Monitored vital signs, such as blood pressure and pulse.
• Accompanied patient for everyday exercise as Doctors required.
• Do Nasogastric tube feeding and suction if needed.
• Answered patient calls for care and feeding.

• Assist admitted patient to the ward room assigned
• Take/Monitored vital signs, such as blood pressure and pulse.

• Assisted nurses with wound care for pressure ulcers, bed sores, and surgical site wounds.
• Supported diagnostic procedures, assisted with technical nursing treatments and entered information in patient records and charts.
• Documents objective data and routine aspects of patient care.
• Reported any unusual circumstances in the patients’ condition or environment.
• Collects patient specimens and data, including vital signs, input/output and other delegated measurements.
• Answered call lights and aided in patient comfort and safety by adjusting beds, lights, bed rails, pillows, patients’ clothing and bedside tables/equipment.
