LTC RN Responsibilities + Medical ward & OBG

• Assess residents and implement care ongoing basis & reviews and evaluate plan of care
• Monitor residents health notes changes in condition and follow up with physicians.

• Supervise care staff , scheduling during weekends and nights.
• Med pass , Vital sign monitoring, contacting family if needed.
• Mentoring new grade & work as charge nurse

• • Collaborated with physicians to quickly assess patients and deliver appropriate treatment while managing rapidly changing various medical conditions.
  • Bed side patient care including medication administration and personal care. and care of tubing and dressings
  • Cardiac monitoring, blood sampling, care of unconcious client and palliative care.
  • Educated patients, families and caregivers on diagnosis and prognosis, treatment options, disease process and management and lifestyle options.
  • Trained new nurses in proper techniques, care standards, operational procedures and safety protocols.

• SURGICAL ICU RN
  • Provide direct care to post operative clients and observing changes in condition and vigilant notification.

  • TURP
  Part of OT duties Rn’s has to work in the recovery room too, in order to receive patients before and after procedures. Duties also includes assessment of patients after surgery for signs of shock , input output measurements, vitals and following up doctors orders and documentations.
