• shoveler for Newmont. Eliminating outside hazards caused by snow and ice build up. Cleaning up and contain spills made by machines or equipment.

Hitting big priority spots such as main camp and generators.

• Operate fuel truck. Making sure I’m always prepared and ready for spills and to fuel machines. Taking safety per cautions such as placing duck pond before pumping, HEO machines are off and out of their equipment, never leaving my hand when pumping off.

• Operate binder silo ISO offloads. Doing pre trips on my equipment before use, reporting anything out of place, double checking connections before starting up blower, keeping eye on gauge, making sure tank is emptied good for truck driver to bring down the road. Aswell as fixing minor issues with the tank.

• Shuttle driver. Picking pedestrians and personnel up and getting them to where they need to go at a respectable time. Looking out for radio calls by pedestrians and main road traffic. Review traffic plan, and making sure everyone is beyond satisfied.

• Spotting for HEO. Loaders, excavators, skid steers, hyster, etc. Making sure there is positive communication between personnel and pedestrians. Positive communication when coming close to buildings.

• Assisted with unloading heavy freight by hand when necessary.
• Operated stationary hiab machine taking crab,sea urchin, sea cucumbers, fish, and heavy boat parts.
• Operated forklift under supervision on days where the dock is clear of people.
• Sort crab, chop up totes of ice blocks/snow for crab boats. Helped with moving frozen bait by hand.
• On call. Not consistent hours. Hours range from 4 hour days to 10 hour days

• Followed safety procedures such as using reflective gear while working on the ramp.
• Assisted passengers with special needs including wheelchairs, strollers, and other mobility aids.
• Loaded and unloaded aircrafts with baggage, cargo, and mail safely and efficiently.
