• Selected by professor to join the Canadian Open Data Society focusing on a project regarding Canadian Housing with the hope of providing non-profit groups with insights around key issues.
• Created a ranking system for municipal open-data portals to determine their effectiveness at presenting open-data to the public and highlighted high value datasets based off Canadian Government high-value data set principles.
• Currently, mapping high-value data sets regarding housing across Canada by municipality using Power BI to determine the amount of coverage that exists for open housing data across Canada.
• Assisting on data validation of open-data portals to lay groundwork for an ETL pipeline to be built which will allow for all portal data to be extracted and then used for future data projects related to Canada.
