Immunohematology Dept

• Performed comprehensive Immunohematology testing for the past 10 months using IH-1000 and IH-500 automated systems, including ABO forward/reverse grouping, Rh typing, antibody screening and identification, direct antiglobulin test (DAT) polyspecific and monospecific, and genotyping.
• Conducted rigorous new lot QC validations, including A1 cells, B cells, screening cells, panel cells, and gel card validations to ensure assay accuracy and compliance with laboratory protocols.
• Executed manual cold agglutinin testing and interpreted results to support accurate diagnosis in complex cases.

BioChemistry Dept

• In Biochemistry Validated new Q.C , Calibrator and reagent lots using scout kits; implemented new QC and calibrator lots across assigned assays, adjusting set points as required.
• Efficiently performed daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance, calibrations, and QC on Alinity IA, Alinity C, Roche c701, c602, c513, and Abbott Architect analyzers, while troubleshooting instrument issues and implementing corrective actions.
• Managed patient correlations across instruments following QC failures or major issues, identifying root causes and communicating effectively with physicians to resolve discrepancies and release results.
• Followed SOPs to review, correlate, and release abnormal and critical patient results, including dilutions when necessary; rotated in HbA1c testing on c513 analyzer.

• Analyzed Complete Blood Count (CBC) using LH 750 and coagulation tests (PT/INR, APTT) on ACL; operated Variant Bio-Rad for HbA1c and Hb Electrophoresis.
• Performed manual miscellaneous tests (ESR, LE, Sickle Cell, Malaria) and screened slides for RBC, WBC, and platelet abnormalities.
• Conducted routine chemistry tests, daily calibrations, and controls on DxC 800; executed endocrinology assays (B12, Ferritin, FT3, FT4) on DxI 800.
• Handled virology (Hepatitis panels, Rubella IgG on AxSYM; Chlamydia on Gen-Probe) and serology tests (CRP, Mono, RA, ASO, LE) via manual methods.
• Performed prenatal and blood banking tests using MTS Gel Card, including forward/reverse grouping, Rh typing, antibody screening, Direct Antiglobulin Tests (DAT), and daily QC for ABO grouping and related procedures.
• Maintained safe laboratory environment and implemented daily quality control practices across departments.
