Mental Health Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive mental status and risk assessments.
• Administer scheduled and PRN psychotropic medications; monitor therapeutic and adverse effects.
• Implement and monitor therapeutic restraints and seclusion per policy and least-restraint principles.
• Utilize de-escalation strategies and respond to Code White and behavioral emergencies.

Complex Continuing Care Responsibilities:

• Provide care for ventilated patients including respiratory monitoring.
• Perform tracheostomy care, suctioning, and airway management.
• Manage high-acuity patients with complex comorbidities.
• Deliver advanced wound care including pressure injuries and complex surgical wounds.
• Administer enteral feeding (NG/G-tube), IV therapy, and central line care.
• Identify early signs of deterioration and initiate timely interventions.

Rehabilitation Responsibilities:

• Support mobility and restorative care plans.
• Promote independence with ADLs and patient-centered goals.
• Collaborate with physiotherapy and occupational therapy teams.
• Adapt quickly to varying unit assignments and patient acuity levels as Float RN.

• Administered medications and treatments in long-term care setting.
• Conducted resident assessments and monitored changes in condition.
• Performed wound care and dressing changes.
• Communicated with physicians and families regarding care updates.
• Supervised healthcare staff on assigned unit.
