Richard Orban

Knowledgeable professional with several years of experience bringing planning and problem-solving abilities. Wide variety of experiences has prepared me for many different roles. Organized and systematic with natural relationship-building and leadership talents. I have had many leadership roles, both professionally and in my personal life.

Although I never listed it in previous work experience, I did work on the first Voting by Mail team during the last provincial election. It was a short term job specifically in the area of compiling final results from counted ballots.I would look forward to an opportunity working with Elections Saskatchewan in a larger capacity.

• I have spent many years both playing and coaching sports. My coaching life has led to many positive outcomes. I have coached many baseball teams to city and provincial championships, including an opportunity to take a team to the National Championship. One of my teams was considered for the Saskatchewan Baseball Hall of fame. I was also part of the team that brought back the Regina Red Sox to active competition in the Western Baseball League.
• I have coached both basketball and football teams that have been city champs and one high school basketball team that won provincials.
• My wife and I are active members at Living Hope Alliance Church. We do many activities there as well I have been on many Boards of Elders.

• I currently spend a lot of time with my family. I am the proud father of two boys and grandfather of four boys. My wife of 44 years, Luana and I are a great team and love traveling, hosting social events and spending time with our family.
