  • Student Sleeper, 5 Days for the Homeless, University of Manitoba Chapter, 03/01/15, Winnipeg, MB, Participated as a student sleeper in a team of five students representing the University of Manitoba in this 2015 national campaign. Worked as a team and reached out to academics, university students, Winnipeg free press, and CBC about our own student experience of living outside for 5 days and advocated for a collective effort to understanding the psychological and social barriers concerning homelessness. Collected donations, clothing, perishable food items and surpassed our initial goal of raising $24000 which was forwarded to Resource Assistance for Youth (RAY).
  • General Secretary, University of Manitoba Bangladeshi Students' Association, 01/01/13, 01/31/14, Winnipeg, MB, Prepared the annual budget and maintained finances, processed cheques received from donations, and student group funding. Maintained the student group bank account, presented a financial forecast after each event, and reconciled and adjusted balances following events.
