While working at VOI from casual to Manager the challenges and rewards of the work are life changing. Learning and sharing the passion with co workers as well with the people supported. I love assisting all the participants and seeing as well as sharing in their growth. People have described me as a productive hard-working, compassionate team member. Worked in a variety of schools with over 15 years experience elementary, middle, and high school. As well as a karate instructor with 15 years experience teaching 3-year-old children and up. New challenges are scary and exciting and being in the final semester of the Disability and Community Support program this has helped me to learn more about the field and the progress that has been made. I work well with others and can work by myself as some positions may require both. I work well under pressure and love learning new things to enhance my abilities in the workforce.
