Rhonda Mason

• conducts individual and group counselling to students on academic, social, emotional, and behavioral issues
• provides mentorship and guidance on topics such as mental health, bullying, and family issues as well as school scheduling and career planning
• collaborates with teachers, administrators, and parents to support student success and well-being
• facilitates referrals to community agencies and mental health services when necessary
• plans with administration the policies and procedures necessary to facilitate dynamic and impactful counselling programs

I taught at three schools - Father Scollen, St. Bonaventure and Monsignor JS Smith

During this time I taught a variety of subjects, primarily grade 7, 8 ,and 9 Language Arts, but also grade 7 and 8 Social Studies, grade 7, 8, and 9 Religion, grade 7,8, and 9 Film Studies, and grade 7 and 8 Health

Throughout my teaching career I coached Jr. High Senior Girl's Basketball

Throughout teaching my strengths were developing strong relationships with my students and their parents, collaborated well with my colleagues and contributed to the extra-curricular needs of the school
