I am a passionate and dedicated educator with thirty four years teaching experience in the primary grades. I am driven to promote student learning by creating a positive and inclusive atmosphere while providing engaging curriculum. I am well-versed in current assessment strategies and I am competent at adapting to students' academic, physical, and emotional needs to foster self confidences and optimize learning. Providing positive, consistent structure in classroom environments is one of my professional area of strength. I have excellent communication skills and strong relationship-building and problem-solving abilities. These skills have served me well in contributing to and improving the culture of learning for students.
