Passionate student nurse working in healthcare and providing patients with best-practice care. Clinical experiences in the nursing program have been on a long-term tracheostomy care unit, medical unit, trauma-surgery, mental health and community health. Gained opportunity to learn many complex skills outside of medication administration such as wound care, dressing changes on CVAD lines and chest tubes, GT/PEG tubes, blood draws, telemetry, post-op care and more. Familiar with the layout of the wards in BTHC due to prior work experience as a healthcare aid and senior practicum student. Working as an undergraduate nurse in Carman Hospital helped gain confidence in nursing skills and familiarize with SHSS policies. Demonstrated success in delivering care to multiple patients, balanced with high-volume task load.
