Charge Nurse/Resource Nurse (2024-Present)

• Manage a team of 25+ interdisciplinary staff during the successful launch of the EPIC EPR system at Unity Health Toronto

• Provided direct patient care on an inpatient surgical unit, resulting in thorough post-operative care for major oncologic surgeries such as general surgery, head/neck, and urologic procedures
• Developed strong surgical nursing skills such as incision care, ostomy changes, foley catheter insertion, TPN and enteral feed administration, drain care, blood product transfusion, central lines, tracheostomy and airway, and pain management
• Coordinated with interdisciplinary team members to escalate care and safely manage high-acuity patient needs
