Accomplishments

    May-June 2023: Participated in Stage 4 Archaeology Field School run by St. Joseph's Catholic High School. The excavation took place at National Historic Site Ft. Willow and was overseen by licensed archaeologist Trevor Carter.

    The course helped me hone and develop skills such as:

  • Teamwork and Collaboration
  • Organized and detailed notes and materials.
  • Finishing work/tasks by a hard deadline
  • Adaptability and a strong work ethic no matter what task I had to perform on the excavation (screening, excavating, note taking)
  • Problem solving skills as the supervisor couldn't help with every problem.
