Summary

Being a CNA trainee served to greatly improve my interpersonal skills, patient care and support, along with providing me crucial skills such as basic life support and CPR training. Furthermore, my time as a pre-nursing student at Sonoma State University showcased to me relevant medical terminology, common diseases with corresponding medications, along with the psychological enrichment that corresponds with patient empathy. Condensing all that has been previously stated, my skills and accolades serve only as a surface-level introduction of my capabilities. While my sincerest intentions are to demonstrate my dedication and willingness to learn, succeed, and elevate the environment as a whole. Transitioning to a more reminiscent expression of myself, I believe a compelling aspect of my qualifications derives from my relationship with my grandmother. Throughout my childhood, my Grandmother instilled the core principles of compassion and karma in my perspective of life; molding my prevailing belief that 'you should only do to others what you want others to do to you'. Before she passed away, I spent the majority of my early adolescence tending to her care and company. Almost a decade of time later, I still maintain the nucleus of her values - wishing only to intensify and spread the same compassion she taught me.
