My family have been business owners in the Yuba City area for over 40 years; growing up in a family like this has given me a decent understanding of how a business is to be run and how employees are to conduct themselves with customers, with each other, and employers. In high school I worked as an aid for an after school course that helped teach social skills to developmentally challenged teenagers and young adults through improvisational comedy and stage theater.
