I'm a committed student with a passion for science and helping others. For the past two years, I've volunteered at CHUM hospital and tutored kids, gaining valuable experience in healthcare and education.
In school, I'm part of the SciMaTIC program, currently participating in Expo-Science, and writing for the journal club, all of which deepen my scientific knowledge. I was also on the school badminton team for two years.
Outside of school, I enjoy horseback riding, traveling, and baking, while helping at my family's restaurant and my grandmother's herbal clinic. I'm certified in first aid, and I'm eager to join a medical mission and pursue research opportunities.

People Skills:
Equestrian is one of my favorite activities and sports because it lets me connect with animals and meet new people outside of school The bond with the horse feels special, as I get to understand each horse's personalities and work together as a team Each ride is also an opportunity to meet other riders and break up my usual school routine
Through riding, I’ve learned a lot about horses’ bodies and their daily needs, including the food and water required to keep them healthy Understanding and learning the body of the horse gives me a deeper comprehension of how living beings function This knowledge makes every ride feel more meaningful as I better understand the care and companionship that make equestrian activities so special

Biology:
Ever since I was young, I have been captivated by biology because of my grandma. Sometimes, she would bring me to work, and I would sit next to her while she did what she had to do. On some lucky days, she would teach me about the human body which I would always listen closely to and ask tons of questions.
As I grew older, my fascination with the human body deepened. From the outside the human body looks so simple, but on the inside, it’s incredibly complex. I am intrigued by how our organs and systems work together to sustain life and how life is created. Learning how the body responds to various injuries and how it can adapt to different environments sparked my curiosity. I enjoy discovering how each part of the body has a specific function, from the heart pumping blood to the brain processing information. Furthermore, I love to explore topics like nutrition, genetics, and the immune system, as they reveal how our choices and environments affect our health. This inspires me to appreciate the human body and motivates me to learn more about medicine and healthcare.
