  • VDAY, Local Campaign Coordinator, 2009-2013: Led over 50 women and volunteers in annual performances of The Vagina Monologues for VDAY.org, a global campaign working to end violence against women and girls. Our local campaign was known as positive and fun, and for engaging audiences with joy instead of anger. Produced and directed; organized entire production schedule from planning, fundraising, casting, and securing and coordinating production needs to executing the event. Public relations; creation of all marketing collateral such as backgrounder, sponsorship contracts, press releases, posters, inserts, banners, programmes and print ads. Navigated and adhered to strict guidelines and policies imposed by VDAY.org in exchange for script rights to deliver a successful campaign that was win/win for the global/local campaigns. Brainstormed, networked and mined resources to achieve overwhelming support from local businesses and agencies in sponsorship and cross-promotion. Increased scope of event to achieve an 800 per cent rise in sales over previous years' events.

Personal
