Work History

Recreation Leader

City of Glendale, CA

  • I would mainly coach 4th and 5th graders in Flag Football, Volleyball, Basketball, and Soccer part of a program called "One Glendale" which is a collaboration between the city of Glendale and the Glendale Unified School District throughout 8 different elementary schools in the district.
  • When the Glendale Unified School District was out of school like for Summer break, I would work as a camp counselor at Pacific community centers "Kool Dayz" camps. These camps were during summer break, winter break, spring break, and thanksgiving break.
  • Throughout the year many times I would also help out with city wide events such as "Cruise Night", "The fall festival, and many more. I would also help out in the Pacific Community Center facility where I would cover shifts or help out with events like birthday parties or sports events.
  • I have also helped out with a few other programs like "STAR", "Teen Night Out", and "Parents Night Out". In the "STAR" program I would help supervise over kids from elementary school all the way to high school. This program would help any kids that may need extra help with really anything. A police officer would also be involved and they would give advice to these kids or just talk to them about anything they needed to talk about. "Teen Night Out" is a program for high school kids who need community service. They can come and hang out with other kids there and be able to help the supervisor do any work like organizing or creating posters for other programs. "Parents Night Out" is a program where parents can drop off their kids from 6 pm all the way until midnight so that they can spend some time away from there kids and go somewhere they couldn't take their kids or just take a few hours to themselves. In both these programs I would just watch over the kids and make sure everything is ok and make sure none of the kids are getting hurt or doing anything they shouldn't be doing.
