• Conducted qualitative field research focused on immigration , refugee anc citizenship status in Ottawa
• Carried out in depth interviews with Mexican workers and other community members to gather firsthand insight on house affordability, discrimination and working conditions
• Authored two research articles addressing public policy and the challenges found in the community concerning housing
• Collaborated closely with the Embassy or Mexico and Ottawa Public Health to ensure research aligned with their priorities and initiatives
• Analyzed qualitative data for the purpose of using thematic analysis to produce evidence based findings on key issues affecting migrant communities

Role: Served as a Consultant responsible for analyzing the demographics of the Francophone population found in West Ottawa.
