Roles And Responsibilities

  • Perform daily welding inspection for piping & structural welds.
  • Identify materials for all welding activities according to applicable drawings.
  • Witness hydro/pneumatic tests and PWHT for piping.
  • Conduct line walk-downs to create punch lists for various packages.
  • Coordinate with QC and construction teams for onsite leak testing programs.
  • Handle hydro testing packages from preparation to system upload.
  • Inspect pile cap welding and splices welding of piles.
  • Check structural welds and installation for modules.
  • Perform inspection activities for pressure vessels.
  • Complete in-service inspection forms for piping and vessel inspection activities.
  • Complete AB-83, AB-40, and other ABSA forms.
  • Prepare and qualify WPS/PQR.
  • Identify materials for test coupons for welder qualification.
  • Calibrate welding equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual requirements regarding quality control and testing procedures.
  • Confirm materials are received and handled according to project specifications.
  • Conduct visual and dimensional inspections for pressure vessels, piping, and boilers.
  • Coordinate quality site inspections with all subcontractors and vendors.
  • Coordinate all non-destructive testing on site.
  • Monitor the implementation of the approved site QC plan.
  • Check welding rod baking and heating temperatures.
  • Plan and manage all QA/QC activities on site.
  • Perform all activities according to company safety policies and standards.
  • Review suppliers’ documentation for materials and MTRs for supplied materials.
  • Provide technical feedback or support to the workforce to maintain quality.
  • Conduct surveillance and create NCRs or QSRs if required.
  • Perform inspections according to approved ITP and quality procedures.
  • Prepare quality dossiers and documents for ongoing work.
  • Perform in-process inspections and maintain NDE/Weld logs.
  • Work with TSASK, ABSA, and TSSA inspectors.
