An Agile based project for Capital Markets database management and transition. The work involved development of a Central Data Systems, data migration and integration layer setup. The input of the data is from Broadridge and Bloomberg under Capital Markets including equities, stocks, derivatives, options, swaps, and foreign exchange to the latest Data Lake environment developed on the Cloud (Azure). Java on Oracle, Big Data / Hadoop, and Artificial Intelligence (AI). The near live data mining, analysis, enrichment, and transfer is done using Kafka and Talend, log monitoring using Splunk and reported using Tableau.

Responsibilities:

  • Gather requirements from business regarding near live data inputs and Business Intelligence report development for Valuations, Calculation of Risk, Credit Valuation Adjustment (CVA), Funding Valuation Adjustment and Profit and Loss Attribution for trading using automation through Kafka connectors and Swift Messaging.
