• Presented a paper titled „‟Spatiotemporal pattern of urban expansion in Kamrup district of Assam based on ecological sensitivity analysis and its association with population growth in the international conference on climate change, biodiversity and sustainable agriculture (ICCBSA-2018), Dec 13th -16th 2018, organized by Assam Agricultural University, Jorhat.

• Presented a paper titled “Analyzing long term climatology of tropospheric ozone & its association with natural & anthropogenic activities - A study over Indo Gangetic Plains(2007-2017)” in the seminar on advances in Remote sensing and GIS Applications organized by Indian society of remote sensing(ISRS) held on May 10-11, 2018.

• Completed a two weeks course on UAV Remote Sensing – Technological Advances and Applications, organized by North Eastern Space Applications Centre from 31st October to 12th November, 2016.

• Presented a paper titled “Long term trend analysis of tropospheric ozone & its association with natural & anthropogenic activities - A study over Indo Gangetic Plains(2002-2012)” in the 14th Esri India User Conference 2013” held on 11-12 December, 2013 at Hotel Kempinski Ambience,New Delhi.

• Member of Memorial University's Save the Sea Society, a society for creating awareness and promote conservation practices for lakes, rivers and the ocean ecosystems.
• Member of "Girl Who Fish" program (a community program to learn traditional Newfoundland fishing knowledge and culture) offered by Fishing for Success, a Non profit based out of the Islands Rooms of Petty harbour, Newfoundland, Canada.
