  • And delivered Federal, Provincial and Municipal housing programs in compliance with Ontario’s Housing Services Act
  • Managed a staff of 6 managers and 40 public sector unionized employees to administer over 3,000 tenancies at 37 Properties valued at over a $1B that included townhomes, seniors’ buildings, and mixed-use high-rises as well as 5 commercial properties throughout York Region
  • Operationalized several new developments and re-developments over a five-year period and successfully scaled up operations to meet the demands created by this 25% growth in inventory
  • Contributed to the redevelopment of Housing York’s Woodbridge Lane location in Vaughan by initiating and implementing a relocation plan for 50 families from three existing properties at this location
  • Collaborated with the Development Team to help manage the demolition of these properties and the construction and opening and rent up of a new multi-unit high-rise built at this location
  • Implemented a different business model and approach to new social housing developments to ensure not only self- sufficiency, but also profitability, unlike previous projects which required tax levy funding to operate
  • Offered 30% of suite inventory to market-paying tenants and ensured buildings were constructed to a standard to be competitive in the private market
  • Generated enough revenue from market rents to offset cost of operations and subsidize the remaining 70% of inventory without Federal, Provincial or Municipal funding

  • Directed the leasing, resident and commercial services and all financial activities including the creation and execution of budgets and capital plans for building operations for 1,200 apartments and 17 buildings of the furnished suite division in Toronto, Mississauga, and Ottawa
