Accomplishments
- Performed in two plays at a community arts performing school.
- Went scuba diving and zip lining.
- Chair of a new nonprofit organization, UPlift Black for two years.
- Performed many duties required as a result of the organization being new, from delivering groceries to Black families experiencing food insecurities to providing packages to young Black youth.
- Spoke at a couple of rallies and was invited to speak on a couple of panels sharing my experiences as an Afro-Indigenous Canadian.
- Currently running the UPlift Black youth group which meets weekly.
