Motivated and dependable college student with experience as a YMCA Lifeguard and Swim Instructor. Strong communication, teamwork, and leadership skills developed through working with children, supervising swimmers, and serving in youth leadership. Responsible, adaptable, and eager to bring a positive attitude and strong work ethic to the workplace.
I’m a certified Lifeguard and Swim Instructor through the YMCA, with certifications in CPR, AED, and First Aid. Through my work, I’ve gained experience teaching others how to swim, working with younger kids, and taking responsibility for the safety and well-being of others. I graduated high school with a 3.8 GPA and received the Summa Cum Laude Academic Excellence Award for my academic achievement all the while balancing academics, my job, extracurricular activities, athletics, and volunteer work. I also completed my final season on my high school’s Varsity Swim Team and received the Sportsmanship Award. Throughout my time on the team, I stayed committed for multiple seasons, worked to improve my performance, and supported and encouraged my teammates. Outside of school and work, I’m very involved in my church and regularly volunteer at events, help teach and work with younger students, and assist with organizing activities. I’ve also completed the Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Teen Academy and received a certificate of completion.
