• Understand and interpret design blueprints for signage fabrication, including specification for LED components.
• Operate fabrication automatic and semiautomatic equipment including cutting, joining, and shaping equipment’s to create signage components, including soldering LED components onto circuit boards.
• Repair and refurbish signage including soldering or resoldering LED components to ensure proper functioning.
• Monitor production equipment’s that includes start up, shut down and oversee fabrication equipment for quality control, including monitoring soldering processes for LED components.
• Support equipment upkeep and repair to ensure functionality, including maintaining soldering equipment used for LED component assembly.
• Adjusts controls of soldering machines to regulate the operating speed, heat temperature and length of flux.
• Adjust equipment settings to meet signage specifications, including adjusting temperatures and settings for LED component soldering.
• Perform electrical and continuity testing of electrical components to check quality acceptance.
• Production record updation and reporting
• Contribute to waste reduction and recommend process improvements.
• Compliance monitoring and completion based on labor laws.
  Understand and follow workplace policies and procedures to support day-to-day manufacturing system.
• Understand deadlines and work under the supervision of Production supervisor to perform and complete tasks in an efficient and effective manner.

• Operate automatic and semi-automatic machines to position.
• Clean and prepare workstation and machines.
• Assemble and test components and ensure adherence to specified requirements, soldering experience is an asset.
• Perform simple electrical and continuity testing of electronic components, parts.

• Systems Identify and mark acceptable and defective assemblies
• Check final assembly for finish, labeling and packaging methods Start monitor, stop, and adjust soldering machines for production lines.
• Adjusts controls of soldering machines to regulate the operating speed, heat temperature and length of flux.

• Read production schedules plus operations manuals and receives verbal instructions regarding sequential start-up operation of soldering machine or system.
• Perform preventive maintenance on soldering machines, using hand tools.
• Load work pieces into soldering machines to join components Melts and separates soldered joints to repair misaligned or damaged assemblies, using soldering equipment.
• Production reporting (Excel/Production system (Navision).
• Ensure profitable business operations.
• Understand deadlines and work under the supervision of Production Supervisor/ Lead Hand to perform and complete tasks in an efficient and effective manner.
• Contribute to waste reduction and recommend process improvements.
• Maintain compliance with established policies and procedures and related Ministry of Labour laws.
• Ensure that final products meet high quality standards.
• Complete other tasks as required and/or directed by management.

• Managing materials procurement system that results in timely material availability within pricing, service quality guidelines in order to support Manufacturing Operations
• Guiding buyers in the appropriate handling of supplier issues, supply, demand material lead times
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and legal requirements
• Ensuring the availability of materials in the supply chain, as scheduled the maintenance of inventory at minimum acceptable levels
• Monitoring Buyers MRP messages PO creation cycle time
• Ensuring database is updated with accurate lead-time, pricing supplier cross-reference information.
