Recently, I have completed two different post graduate diplomas in RN Community Mental health nursing from Niagara College Canada, Ontario and Health and Human services Management from Bow Valley College, Alberta. I worked as a RN in India. During my employment, I-worked in maternity department, ICU, Surgically Unit and emergency department, where I-learnt how to handle various medical and psychological problems by using evidence-based practice. Moreover, the main duties were; assessment and making care plans, administration of medication, dressings of minor to major wounds, administration of IV fluids and injections, health education to clients and their family members. Through my work experience I-have learned to think critically and recognize the importance of team work. Therefore, I am able to develop, implement and modify nursing care plans.
Moreover, Ihave great communication skills so Iam fluent in English, Hindi and Punjabi. Ialso possess a helpful attitude; good team working skills and am prepared to put in extra efforts which make all of the difference.
