I experienced a temporary role in the retail sector to transition into the retail industry

This experience allowed me to gain valuable insights into the retail environment and strengthened my commitment to pursuing a long-term career within the industry

However, due to unforeseen circumstances, I decided to return to my food and beverage career

During this period as a sales associate in a liquor store, my responsibilities included as following:

• Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner and provide product information and recommendations to customers based on their preferences and needs
• Maintain clean and organized store environment, including shelves, displays, and product inventory
• Upsell and cross-sell products to maximize sales and meet sales targets
• Stay up-to-date with product knowledge, including new arrivals, promotions, and pricing

• Spearheading operations in maintaining, serving/selling wine amenities/inventory at specialty restaurant
• Also responsible for specialty wine bar & champagne bar to enhance the wine sales
• Assist onboard guests with wine ethics/organize activities on wine tasting, wine & food pairing

• Mixed and served alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverage to guests in various bars, lounges and service areas throughout the vessel by performing the following essential duties and responsibilities
• Responsible for the proper set up in the assigned venue, stock control, and inventory to order stock accordingly
• Promote and maximize beverage sales in the assigned bar(s) or workstation
• Maintained inventory of liquor, mixers and other items utilized in the bar
• Maintained an awareness of drink trends and made recommendations to Bar Manager to introduce new drinks
• Provides on-the-job training to Bar Servers and/or Bar Utility personnel to strengthen their current performance.

• Responsible for the overall beverage operation of the cocktail bar that includes: Maintain bar cost and inventory
