Scope: My role includes managing the Franchisee agreement with Wendy’s in Canada. Overseeing all execution kitchens and urban gateways. Duties include:

  • Hire, Develop & Mentor a diverse team of Wendy’s Trainers, Leaders and Operators to achieve and exceed KPI’s.

  • Lead strategic growth for the market by collaborating with launch teams and other functional support teams to ensure growth goals are achieved and are operational, within aggressive and fluctuating timelines.
  • Vet all Real estate proposals to ensure Operational capabilities can be executed & maximize proximity.
  • Ensure all New launches and business continuity, execution kitchens and urban gateways are in compliance with, Wendy’s powered by REEF’s, policies and standards.
  • Optimize an agreed P&L working in close partnership with Multi-Unit Leaders, Field Trainers and Finance partners, from both sales and cost perspectives.
  • Accountable for the oversight and execution of the day-to-day operational standards in alignment with Wendy’s policies.
  • Responsible for leading and mentoring, Multi unit Leaders to oversee end to end employee life cycle of team members in our units. This includes hiring, development, scheduling, performance management and engagement of our team members.
  • Ensure the operational safety of all field operations, particularly food safety, to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and guidelines.
  • Create assignments in the form of objectives leading the multi-unit leaders and Field Trainers to determine how to use resources to meet deliverables on time and on schedule.
  • Recommend changes to policies and establishes local procedures that positively affect field operations and the overall P&L.
