- Plan, organize, direct, and evaluate projects, and assist in their seamless execution from the start to finish according to schedule, specifications, and budget.
- Review project specifications to make sure they meet the requirements of BC building code, fire code, and ADA standards.
- Compare architectural and interior drawings with the project specifications to ensure feasibility.
- Participate in meetings with the general contractor and the client to discuss the project scope, planning, and schedule.
- Assist in identifying the existing site conditions by visiting the site to ensure it meets the installation requirements and building standards.
- Gather measurements on-site for projects as needed and clarify project constraints and feasibility according to the client's expectations and codes.
- Draft or revise shop drawings as needed, per project drawings and specifications, and send them for approval before production.
- Create production work orders and drawings based on the approved shop drawings and send them to the production team.
- Liaise with manufacturing, procurement, and scheduling to obtain technical support, project feasibility clarification, and accurate project details to answer, and action incoming customer requests, change orders, and project amendments.
- Schedule product deliveries and installation crew to the site by coordinating with the site team.
- Inspect the installation work done by the installation team, prepare the install report and required documentation, and communicate any deficiencies with the project team.
- Plan, prepare, validate, and apply change orders, and process project orders; create and process the appropriate corresponding documentation.
