- observed children's play and designed curriculum regarding their interests.
- Communicated to parents about their children's routine and day and made sure parents understood that's their input was important to be heard.
- Helped create weekly meal plans and included the children in the process. Each child was given a role in the kitchen while being supervised. One child washed the fruits, and the other placed it on the plates. Also their were other roles as well it help promote team leadership for the children.
- Supervised during field trips, assisted in head counts and making sure each child was enjoying their time. Understood that each child has different interests. Bring a basket full of crafts, for example when the child wanted to sit down and relax. Gave them a chance to do something else they liked, for example making a beads bracelet with their name. Paint and a few paint brushes to paint and enjoy the scenery at the trip. The children were excited to have their art work displayed and some asked to take it home to show their parents.
