-Supporting families and members to build a network of support around their loved one with a disability
-Working with local communities to provide safe and accessible spaces for a diverse community and helping our members access supports and the local community

-Looking for creative places to seek Community Connectors for our members.
-Interviewing, hiring process and training new Connectors
Ongoing Support to our 35 Community Connectors and our Members
• Identifying community events in which Sylvan could play a role and setting up company participation in those events
• Setting up individual programs for students in reading, math, writing or study skills
• Meeting with parents, teachers and other pertinent members of the community
• Managing the centre operations, including staffing, scheduling, customer service, marketing, accounting, and program quality
• Teaching Sylvan programs, as well as assisting with student’s particular assignments from school
