With having done these 3 jobs, I have learned how to use my time wisely and keep up with others around me to the best of my ability. I have had to learn to pay close attention to what I'm doing and how I'm doing it, making me more aware of making sure things are done properly as often as possible. I have gained skills that involve dealing with other people and always trying to work out a solution that works for both me and the company as well as the customer overall.
I work in gardens doing things such as planning and helping to choose where items are to be planted, maintaining good-looking gardens, and doing the basic things such as weeding and cutting back. I've laid sod, mulch, multiple forms of rocks and stones, and raked leaves. I also talk to customers to see what they want done and how we can help them achieve the gardens they want.
I work in the back kitchen cooking and preparing food orders as well as doing prep to make sure we have enough extra product done up for our shift and the following shift (ex.cut peppers, tomatoes)
I wait on customers and make sure that all are satisfied to the best of my abilities. I make sure that our shelves are stocked and all produce is clearly displayed. I also work on the ice cream side of the market taking orders and scooping ice cream.

I am an active member of the Border Riders 4-H club. I have received many ribbons and have gone on to ProShow with a few of my projects. I am currently participating in foods, crafts, and wood working as my projects this year. I am also a member of the Border Riders 4-H woodsmen team. I also love to paint, crochet and do little crafts in my spare time. I love plants and care for a vegetable garden and greenhouse every year as well.
