Affiliations

I am a very motivated person and love to learn new skills and share it with others. I enjoy downhill skiing, fishing, hiking, planning parties/events for family & friends. My career in nursing is one I love as it engaging with people daily. I continued to participate and volunteer in many activities during my time as a homemaker.

Accomplishments

After working at CCI, RAH, Sturgeon and Abroad, I decided to stay home with my 3 children. Once my children were all independent, I decided to return to the workplace I enjoy the most. I just completed my Nurse Refresher which is a big accomplishment to Return to Practice. In the certificate program I regained all my skills and more. In the process I also assisted many nurses and guided them through the process.

Certification

I have worked at the Cross Cancer Institute in the past where I worked inpatient as well as outpatient in the Brain Tumor Clinic. Also worked in Palm Springs for 4 years in oncology at Desert Regional Hospital. Recently in the refresher program I took the Gerontology course and Mental Health course. I am always looking to increase my knowledge and advance my care. After successfully completing my refresher , I continued my education with a basic & advanced injectable course and PRP.

Return to practice

  • The past couple years I successfully took my Nurse Refresher to return to practice. During this time I worked at Grey Nuns And Misericordia in Med/Surg for my clinical. It was great to get back into nursing and refresh my skills. I was happy to have the opportunity to be mentored and get myself back up to speed. Please feel free to contact me to talk further and references from my preceptor upon request.
