The education provided in these sessions is to help patients better understand diabetes, and this will empower patients and families to manage safely at home with their diagnoses of diabetes. Providing them with appropriate tools and resources. Able to identify and understand the variations of family dynamics, and facilitating the education session based on what will work best for the patient and family members. Able to identify patient and family members' learning styles and learning abilities. Tailoring the delivery of education to their best fit, creating positive learning environments, and managing the pace of learning based on the needs of the patient and family.
