Summary

The bulk of my background is in Aviation Security Management. I have been involved in many aspects of this role from screening operations, Aviation Security regulation advisement to audits and training. I left the field during COVID as my position was retired. Since that time I have tried other areas of work and have also gone back to school.

I am knowledgeable, with solid background in developing and implementing security and safety protocols across various industries. Accomplishments

    Over the years I have been given many opportunities to expand my knowledge and gain education and on the job training from my employers. I have gotten to do many course that I would not normally get to do in other fields and have taken great knowledge from all that were implemented into my roles.

    I have had the privilege of working with many different people over the years and traveled all over our beautiful province as well as other provinces as well.

    I have been able to join the team of my current employee with ease. I have broken down some barriers in communication and increased the need for site presence by identifying sections of the OHS program that needed closer observation.

    I believe that I have allot to offer and am able to adapt well to new opportunities. I work well in a group setting as well as independently.

Skills Achievements

  • While working with the Town of Brigus I was able to receive training in all Mandatory Modules with MNL as well as ATIPP training and PMA courses. I also did a basic chemistry course to identify issues and understand the Towns water facility.
  • Maintained Screening qualification during position as Security Manager in order to utilize skills if required for operational reasons.
  • Thorough understanding of Transport Canada Regulations and can effectively ensure compliance with those regulations by staff.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of Products.

I have held Security Clearances in the past, while with CRA and STAS Canada I held an Enhanced Reliability clearance's both the security and industrial security fields. While work with PAL airlines and Aerospace I maintained a Nato Level 2 Clearance.
