Accomplishments

    Recipient of the highly-competitive Joseph-Armand Bombardier Canada Graduate Scholarship from the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council in 2012 for my MFA thesis work at York University.

    Nominated for and awarded numerous academic scholarships throughout my studies, including nomination for Faculty of Graduate Studies Thesis Prize for exceptional thesis at York University.

    Collaborated with the Ontario Tenants Rights group from 2019 to 2023 to educate tenants on their rights and responsibilities and summarized and translated proposed changes in legislation to the Residential Tenancies Act via Bill 184 in order to inform tenants on critical changes to their rights.
