Structural Reliability of Airplane Landing Gear

Modeled airplane landing gear in Catia, performed stress analysis in Abaqus to determine factor of safety, and analyzed part reliability using Weibull, Gamma, and Normal distributions in MATLAB and Excel to calculate Mean Time to Failure (MTTF).


Fabrication of Composite  Flower and Helmet using 4-D Printing Technique

Utilized matrix resin shrinkage and thermal contraction differences in composite laminae to activate shape change during curing, tailored fiber-reinforced prepreg with varying fiber angles, and stacked layers using hand-layup followed by autoclave curing and DSC testing to assess cure degree.
