Climate Data Projection for Forest Management, Extracted and analyzed historical and future climate data from CMIP6 to develop a model assessing mortality rates and the potential impacts of climate change on forest dynamics across various climate variables. The analysis provided actionable insights for sustainable forest management and was shared with policy departments to inform decision-making. Accessibility Analysis of Green Spaces, Conducted spatial analysis using ArcGIS and QGIS to evaluate the accessibility and safety of public spaces in Caledon. This project involved making recommendations to city planners for future infrastructure development to enhance public space accessibility and safety. Custom Climate Data Dashboard, Developed an interactive dashboard using R and Shiny to visualize climate data from the Environment Canada archives. This dashboard improved data accessibility for stakeholders by allowing them to explore and analyze climate trends interactively. Jaguar Movement Tracking, Analyzed GPS tracking data using ArcGIS and R to study jaguar movements in wildlife habitats. This spatial analysis project supported conservation efforts by providing detailed movement patterns that informed habitat protection and wildlife management strategies.
