Duties included:

• Shop Lead Contact : Worked with and managed customers (insurance claimants, movie / television crews and independents), industry members and government
• Estimate preparation, parts research, negotiation and purchasing, work scheduling, and computer based administration
• Managed inventory and supply chain operations to achieve timely and accurate delivery of goods and services
• Oversaw daily operations, ensuring shop met its performance goals
• Assisted in recruiting, hiring and training of team members.

• Part of a team of 15+ specialized estimators that reviewed and audited body shop repair estimates province wide to ensure compliance with industry standards and government regulations
• Provided comprehensive training to junior estimators, enhancing team capabilities and improving overall departmental productivity
• Gathered cost and material data for accurate and up-to-date information on material and labor costs.
• Continuously improved estimating procedures by staying updated on industry trends and attending relevant training courses.
• Conducted site visits to evaluate body shop operation to gather information for precise cost effective estimates and repairs
