Accomplishments

    - Awarded the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal for my service as a Marine Air Traffic Control Mobile Team (MMT) member with the 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit from June 2023 to December 2024. I volunteered to join a small, forward-deployed team aboard the USS Somerset to provide air traffic control and communications support during critical international exercises such as Cobra Gold, Balikatan, Tiger Triumph, and RIMPAC. Throughout the deployment, I helped ensure over 140 flight hours and 88 safe aviation operations for the HMH detachment, supporting both U.S. and partner nation forces. I took on a variety of roles—including ramp controller, tower liaison, and trainer—and worked closely with multiple units across the MAGTF to improve coordination and safety during complex missions. My goal was always to contribute wherever I could, adapt to new challenges, and enhance the effectiveness and readiness of our team. I was proud of what we accomplished and grateful for the opportunity to represent Marine Corps aviation in such a meaningful way.
