Unit: Surgical Intensive Care Unit

Duty Hours: 48 hours per week

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical, psychological, and spiritual status using age-specific data; perform diagnostic tests and maintain detailed records to provide vital health information to physicians while prioritizing nursing care based on assessment data.
• Monitor vital signs, recovery processes, and medication effects, providing direct patient care, stabilizing patients as needed, and coordinating with physicians and clinical staff for treatment preparation and interventions to enhance the quality of patient care.
• Respond swiftly to emergencies with expertise, monitoring critically ill patients for changes in status (e.g., sepsis or shock) and implementing appropriate interventions, including administering intravenous fluids and medications as ordered, while tracking fluid intake and output to identify imbalances.
• Assist physicians with procedures such as intubation, tracheostomy changes, central venous insertions, thoracentesis, and paracentesis, and manage ventilated/sedated patients, arterial and central lines, and continuous ECG monitoring.
• Oversee pharmacological drips, including vasoactive and sedative medications, ensure medical equipment functions properly, and maintain the stock of emergency medications while regularly updating expiry dates.
• Provide end-of-life care for patients and families, act as a patient advocate, offer education and support to patients and their families, and oversee all aspects of patient care, including diet and physical activity.

Unit: Medical Ward

Duty Hours: 48 hours per week

• Evaluated patient conditions and developed individualized care plans while providing comprehensive nursing care in the ward to ensure a safe and supportive environment.
• Executed clinical procedures such as phlebectomy, NG feeding, IV cannulation, and Foley catheterization; assisted physicians with intubation and other procedures, ensuring adherence to best practices.
• Monitored vital signs, managed medication administration, and provided timely interventions based on patient assessments to ensure optimal care outcomes.
• Maintained strict sterile techniques during procedures, kept accurate records of patient care activities, and ensured compliance with healthcare regulations and protocols.
• Collaborated with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and improve quality outcomes, participating in case discussions and care planning.
• Educated patients and their families on health management, treatment plans, and post-discharge care, empowering them to take an active role in their recovery.
