Benefits Project:
Having team of 3 colleagues with a target of 100 claims, each to be completed on daily basis which the team has been able to achieve consistently.
Our daily average inflow has been ~700 claims including week offs.
Problems:
Erratic inflow in the process which created the backlog in both the queues. Completing the daily production and clearing the queues of ~700 claims which braught in a backlog of 42% claims everyday.
Solution:
Daily inflow of both the queues were *350 in total, wherein two agents were aligned towards adjuster queue and 1 agent was aligned to work on the testing queue. Further we cross trained agents from customer engagement team ta work upon benefits claim which helped benefits team to reduce the workflow at a faster pace.
